Sheds Governance workshop

We would like to invite shed Presidents, Secretary’s, and Treasurer’s to a half day governance workshop designed specifically to address the challenges and opportunities faced by committees running local men’s sheds and will include topics such as the roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer; running meetings; effective decision-making; strategic roles for committees; risk management; conflict of interest; and managing disputes.

This workshop will be valuable for you if you are new to your committee member roles or if you would just like a refresher and a chance to have your questions answered or to discuss your experiences with people in the same boat.

The workshop details are:

Date: Monday 31 October 2022

Time: 9am to 12:30 (followed by a light lunch and our AGM)

Location: RAAFA Club, Air Force Memorial Estate, 2 Bull Creek Drive, Bull Creek

Cost: Free for the current Presidents, Secretary’s, and Treasurers of sheds
