Have a Go Day 2022 (Live lighter event)

Have a Go Day is a WA is an annual event run by the Seniors Recreation Council of Western Australia (SRCWA). Its aim is to encourage over-55s to participate in activities that help to keep them physically and mentally alert.

Burswood Park will have activities, entertainment and information specifically for older adults. The day provides an opportunity for people to come and have a go at different activities. In the past they’ve included a climbing wall, canoeing on the river, petanque, dancing, disc golf, tai chi, boomerang throwing and yoga.

There’s entertainment, food stalls (or you can bring a picnic) and static displays offering a variety of information from different clubs and groups.

Men’s Sheds of WA will be a stall holder so if you come along to the event please come and say hi.
