After the success of the 2025 Christmas Wooden Toy Appeal, Robyn Smith from the Motorcycle Men’s Shed brings info for this year’s appeal…

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Motorcycle Men’s Shed, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your outstanding support and participation in our 2025 Appeal. Thanks to your generosity, skill, and workmanship, we were able to donate over 450 toys to local charities for their Christmas Appeals. These donations were met with overwhelming appreciation, and we were fortunate enough to witness the joy of some children as they received their toys.

Some of the toys made for the 2025 Appeal.

We are excited to announce that the Christmas “Wooden Toy” Appeal will continue in 2026, and once again, we are seeking your support in making and donating wooden toys. Our goal this year is to collect over 500 toys, allowing us to support even more local charities in their end-of-year appeals.

We would love for your Shed to join us this year, wherever you are, Metro or Regional, so we can make an even greater impact together.

Key Dates & Logistics

Toys should be completed and ready for collection from September.

Motorcycle Men’s Shed members will arrange collection at a time and date that suits your Shed.

Distribution to charities will begin in early November, following each charity’s guidelines.

Please note: Toys do NOT need to be gift-wrapped.
